We contracted TLC Global to conduct training on Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence in June 2018. Before the training TLC arranged several meetings with myself to learn about our business, familiarise themselves with our terminology in order to customise the training and work within our frame of reference so the training materials and videos were completely relevant to our managers, using examples they could all relate to.

In a discussion after the workshop, the team really felt that they were able to take away so much from the session that they could use to improve their local processes. Lianna Garden – Talent Leader, Jonsson Workwear Depot

TLC partnered with the Business Leadership team at Kenya Airways (KQ) and created a customized Lean Six Sigma programme integrated with strategic Change Management effort for the KQ Operation Excellence programme. KQ required Deployment Management, training on Change Management, Lean Six Sigma and project coaching. This integrated Lean Six Sigma deployment directly involved 1,500 people with a wider reach to over 4,100 employees over 3 years.

Paul Obiero – Head of Operational Excellence, Kenya Airways

TLC managed an integrated approach to Leadership Development using a practical approach leading to behaviour changes in the workplace. This programme was customised using a travel theme for the learners. The eLearning modules were combined with classroom training and TLC provided Coffee sessions for eLearning motivation and putting the theory into practice by using games and prizes as incentives. This was a phased approach to learning which spanned over approximately two/three years where leaders acted as coaches to embed knowledge and ensure sustainability within the business.

This programme initiative focused on creating an enabling environment that targeted all three levels of leadership: Executives; Senior Managers and Junior Managers

TLC assisted us with our enterprise deployment of Lean Six Sigma. Included in the services provided were:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training, eLearning and certification including project coaching on-site

Gavin Thompson – Head Process Improvement and Innovation

We worked with Training Leadership Consulting on one of the major projects for Western Cape Provincial Department of Health on implementing Financial Solutions.  We selected  TLC as a service provider after following the selection criteria as they have the right blend of technical knowledge and curriculum development skills. The project consisted of developing and training a Financial Management Course for 60 Health CEO’s of the Western Cape. This project involved learning the process of budgeting and supply chain in the Department of Health and customizing a training programme for the Executives. TLC were very professional and went the extra mile. The course was extremely well received by Executives and the Sponsors and was requested to be deployed into the next level of the hospitals. I would recommend working with TLC. Their training is experiential and gets the required outcomes.
