Tanya has 25 years’ technical and leadership experience in Supply chain and People capability development within global FMCG businesses. She has a strong track record spanning Brewing, Engineering, Capital Projects, Process Development and Innovation, Process Optimisation, Technical People Development, and in managing functional and technical line teams to deliver business results. Tanya joined TLC as the Managing Director in February 2017 and brings a depth of knowledge and experience to the team and in supporting our clients to deliver sustainable results.

Debbie McCarthy
Director and Founder

Debbie McCarthy is the Founder and Director of TLC and is based in Colorado USA. Debbie brings 20 years of business improvement, training, coaching, project management and facilitation experience to TLC. Debbie is a Master Black Belt and has trained and coached multiple teams and business leaders on achieving business results using the right methodology and tools. Debbie’s passion is Curriculum Development and eLearning. She has created and facilitated courses in Change Leadership, Train the Trainer, Leading High Performing Teams, Lean and Six Sigma, as well as Statistics with an emphasis on experiential learning. Debbie re-located in 2016 from South Africa to Boulder, Colorado with her husband Rick and their three children, Matthew, Rory and Ella.

Maurice Kuhn
Gauteng Director

Maurice has 20 years’ experience in business process improvement. His experience in this field includes leading business process re-engineering projects as well as the detailed design, documentation and mapping of business processes and process improvement methodologies. He has worked with clients across various industries over the last 8 years, assisting with Process Improvements. He has trained courses such as Lean Leadership, Change Management, Lean for Service, Lean for Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt Courses. He works with clients as a change manager, team leader, project leader, mentor and coach. He is a practitioner, coach and trainer of Six Sigma and Lean as well as change management and leadership development.

Sarah Giles
Business Development Manager

Sarah is TLC’s Business Development Manager. She has over 10 years’ experience and joined TLC in 2010. Sarah’s role promotes, sells and secures business through a relationship-based sales approach. Sarah manages the marketing plan and budget supported by her creative right hand lady, Roxy Ellis. Her son Alex loves visiting the team and spending time in the baby nursery at our head office.

Grant Davis
Business Improvement Manager

Grant is TLC’s Business Improvement Manager and joined TLC in 2011. Grant is a highly experienced trainer and facilitator. He has trained and coached Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, Yellow Belt, Lean, Design for Six Sigma and Process Management. Grant has facilitated process improvement workshops for top companies, mapping and analyzing thousands of processes. His industry experience includes Finance, Insurance, Banking, Manufacturing, Logistics, Oil, Aviation, Agriculture, Education, Textile, Energy and Telecommunications.

Prineshan Amichand
IT Manager

Prineshan Amichand is TLC’s IT Manager and course facilitator. He provides technical support to internal TLC team and external customers. Prineshan provides IT support for The Leadership Centre and is involved in designing and delivering technology solutions on projects as well as managing software licensing and provider SLAs. Prineshan facilitates TLC’s Lean FOCUS, Lean Leader Internship and Design for Six Sigma courses.

Roxanne Ellis
Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer

Roxy is our creative guru at TLC. She joined TLC in 2014 as our Graphic Designer and works closely with Sarah in the marketing department as our marketing co-ordinator. Roxy adds her magic to our curriculum development and customised learning programmes for our clients.

Learner Support

Taryn manages TLC and The Leadership Centre learner support. Her role includes registering learners online, compiling learner reports for clients, issuing certificates and tracking learner progress. Taryn’s technical support and experience in IT systems is extremely valuable in managing the support role for the business.

Learnership and Accreditation Administrator

Nikita Fynn is our Learnership and Accreditation administrator. She joined us in August 2016 ensuring our quality management system and Learnership portfolio of evidence is carefully updated and documented for our clients. Nikita’s structured approach to managing internal processes ensures that accurate records are maintained for our clients and enables TLC to deliver service excellence.
